I share with you photos of one of the most curious designs of the Luftwaffe during World War II. I'm talking about Junkers Ju-287 and its unusual design. If it had entered into service and built in quantity would have changed the course of the war? What do you think? Visit the link below, you will find it a lot of photos and a full report on this almost unknown aircraft. I hope you enjoy.

Best Regards!

A nice piece of kit. Four Junkers Jumo 004B-1 turbo jet engines with each jet engine augmented with a Walter 109-501 rocket pod to initiate enough lift-off thrust. This proto-type utilised a number of parts from other aircraft to basically get the design off of the ground in a manner of speaking in a rush. The nosewheel was from an American Consolidated B-24 "Liberator" heavy bomber. The main wheels were from a Junker Ju 352 "Herkules" transport. The sizable portion of the empennage and the fuselage were taken from the Junker Ju 388 "Stortebeker" heavy fighter and the Heinkel He 177 "Grief" heavy bomber respectively.
What a handsome figure of a dragon. No wonder I fall madly in love with the Alani Dragon now, the avatar, it's a gorgeous dragon picture.
