Hell, you have to keep an eye on the whole month. We had snow last nite.
Was only an inch or so, but we've had some of the worst storms in March.

Boston got 10-12 inches, that was what we were supposed to get. I never put the snow equipment away until the 2nd week of April. We've had snow on Easter.

One never really knows, in my location, what March weather is going to be like.  The Blizzard of '78 took place in March, and that taught us to be cautious about March weather, especially when it begins warm & sunny like it did this year.  The old adage "March comes in like a lion, and goes out like a lamb", is sometimes reversed.

Last week, the weather forecasters were warning us here in western Massachusetts to prepare for a possible foot of snow overnight on Sunday. As it got closer, they changed their forecasts to "unsettled weather", whatever that's supposed to mean. I think that's what they say when they don't know. Boston evidently did indeed get that foot of snow, as the storm moved eastwards. But here in western Massachusets, we only got a couple of inches, which was all melted by the following day.

Easter is pretty early this year. Actually, it's this weekend. I still have my snow-shovel out next to the door. But hopefully, it won't need to be used.
