If someone wanted to go from Prague to Vienna or Rome, how did they go?


in 11th century?

in 15th century?

in 19th century?


on foot? On a horse? Or horse carriage?


I know that later were built system of railway with a horse carriage:

All of the above with variants in mechanisms; ie. carts, box carriage, horse litter, etc. to include river travel. Or a combination thereof.
