In June we got a record 12.5 inches, it's only 4 days into July and we have had 4-5 inches already.  I have lived in this home for 18 years.  I have had to dig ditches around half my yard, to take the water away from the house.
Also to try and dry out my garden area.  Nothing will grow well in the swamp it is now.   5,000 ybp this area was extremely wet and warm, could it be returning to it's original climate?
 
Anyone else experiencing this wetness.  I hope not, I'm getting a little long in the tooth to go digging ditches on this scale. 
 
BTW, the original grading of our property was done in 1970, it's held up all these years and now.....
