Yesterday the clocks went forward, signalling the start of summer. This yearly practise originated during WWI when the government wanted more working hours in the day, although in other countries, like Germany, people simply got up an hour earlier in the summer

Don't get me started on daylight savings time...it's a crock. And every rancher... farmer... I ever knew or still know realized that if you needed more time you got up earlier. Wink

In the military it didn't matter as in theory you were on call 24-7.
Nowadays I get up when I feel like it and sleep when I feel like it and work when I feel a mood come on.

But, back on primary topic, spring has also come to the Llano. Just the other day it got to 88 and then dropped to 33 that night. But that's the Llano.
It a couple of more weeks the wild flowers and cactus will begin to bloom.

I'll have to wait for the spring to come to the hill, let alone summer - we have snow up to the end of April, and in some shaddowy places - till May.
So you guys are well ahead of yous truly - enjoy it!Smile
