Wisconsin Teacher Reprimanded After Students Allowed to Protest Gov. Walker on Field Trip
Published November 05, 2011| FoxNews.com

A fourth-grade teacher in Wisconsin has been reprimanded after he allowed his students to participate in a political protest against Gov. Scott Walker on a field trip to the state Capitol building.

Video of the incident was aired by FOX6 in Milwaukee earlier this week. In it, students could be seen clapping while protesters with a group called the "solidarity singers" belted out a modified version of "This Land Is Your Land." The last verse includes the line, "Scott Walker will never push us out, this house was made for you and me."

Teachers, public and private, are always trapped in a foaming whirlpool about

what they should or shouldn't do with their students.

Sometimes teachers attempt to make the students pawns in their own political leanings

and fill their heads with untruths and misdirection.  A teacher needs to keep their own

thinkings as such away from students, regardless of age.

Also can not control personal attitude of students. They all have rights about political&ethical attitudes and
teachers have not right on forced change of them.Best way:No talk about politics on classes!Saves us both.

That is true to some extent Med.

If a teacher is teaching a Government class, or even History, politics is going to

come up. Where the teacher can err is putting too much of their own thinking into

those young minds and having those minds trust in their teachers to be telling them

the truth.
