People of USA have 4th of July as independence day.First one was with,George Washington ahead, against British colonial forces and second one with Bill Pullman against alien squids!Regards to all of them! Do you have independence day in your country? How many of them,do you celebrate till now?European land and it's history can be described as:It is complicated!

My Mother has an American friend of many many years, and she posed a question. How does the country celebrate 4th of July with so many fireworks, and justify it, with so much debt hanging over it?
What a handsome figure of a dragon. No wonder I fall madly in love with the Alani Dragon now, the avatar, it's a gorgeous dragon picture.
Even Poor Americans will find a way to blow things up in celebration!
A typical family celebration often now includes 3" - 5" Mortars for our night-works.
The cost of all the big 'Commercial/Organized' shows pales
in comparison to all the fireworks & explosives the American people personally buy & expend.
A Hearty Happy Independence Day To All Me American Mates!
And a slightly belated Happy Canada Day to our northern Sibs!
