b) A quaint old boat drifted down the river near Sally's farm.

3) Underline the verbal NPs in each of the following sentences. Say whether it is a gerundive or infinitival phrase, and state its grammatical function in the sentence.

a) You achieve success by working hard.

b) To live honestly in my main goal in life.

c) She appreciated learning a new skill.
