I am flying to Los Angeles or really Burbank so this will be the first time I have been to the city of the Angels in just over a decade. Anyone live there on A&E or have been there? Nice place to visit but I would not want to live there- maybe in the 1920's or 30's but not today.

Greater LA basin - wow the skyline is huge and has changed since I was last there. I have an old post card from the 1930's and city hall was the tallest buidling then. Burbank is on the other side of the Santa Monica mountains but from there I go to Ventura Country and then up to kern Country a five hour drive.

LA has many faces and that would be a great thread in the section for images and picture forum but here I am in the tavern with a cold beer to talk about what you think about LA- the city of the Angels or maybe demons-

I live in Los Angeles myself, beverly hills. I also have a lot of family who live in westwood.
The direct use of force is such a poor solution to any problem, it is generally employed only by small children and large nations.
