still, all the French guy really knows how to do is charge forward, the Mamluk could fire at him using superior mobility to avoid a melee, and if his bow doesnt work against the armor he can always use a gun.

The mamluks didnt use guns,thats why they were defeated at Marj-Dabk by the Ottomans.

Strenthened by a repetititve exexercise a mamluk could slice through lead bars with a sword weighing more than four pounds.Lead not iron,sorry i was not correct.

maybe a mamluk proper didnt, but they knew more about them as they had significant firearms auxilaries.
