Topic: sex slaves in nomad dynasty Posted: 03-Sep-2008 at 10:17 |
I just read a novel from the web, it is purely fictional story, it is about sex slaves of the Mongolian empire, in the stiry, two Chinese, male and female were Sung Chinese who were captured by the Mongols , and then they were turned as sex slaves, this story inspired me. i want to ask whether during the dynasties of the nomad tribes, there were many Chinese sex slaves, because nomads people had a strong body and stronger sex desire, and they did not have much sex regulations just as hans people have

Interesting approach...
Sex slaves in terms of treatment of the conquered people was the common thing in history and not only with the nomadic dynasties in China.

Slaves have always been available for sex essentially, whether they are called that or not.

Strange. A professor of physics should think more about physics rather than producing strange statements about nomadic libido.

In Hong Kong, there is a famous writer, Louis Cha. One of his novel is Eagle shooting Hero.In this novel, there is a story, a Prince of theJurchen dynasty loved a Chinese woman who lived in a small village, but the woman did not love him. So the prince asked his soldiers to kill the husband of that woman, but himself shown up as a " hero" and " saved " the woman from his own soldiers. Then they moved north He treated the woman nicely and tenderly. Even after he told the truth, he still respected the woman, he really loved her, later forced her in sex aspect, he even did not marry other girls
The writer said one physics professor did not agree this, he did not believe that nomad prince could treat woman in such way. then he made such argument. the writer never mention the true identity of the professor

All this proves nothing except that the crazy physics professor was racially biased against the nomades.

I don't think that having a stronger body has anything to do with a stronger sexual desire.
If this theory were true, then the pigmen tribe of Africa should all have a very low sex drive because they're all short and skinny.

LOL, thats very true indeed. I believe the normads needed women because the ratio of man to woman wasn't optimal. Remember the diff. tribes used to raid & kinapped women from other tribes, so why not take Han Chinese women too.

Nomads were not the only ones to have sex slaves. Every Chinese, Persian, and Ottoman emperor had a harem.
Slaves formed an important part of everyday life in Roman society, and I'm sure that many were used for sexual purposes.

First "21st cemtury is the Russian century", and now this? You say the weirdest things. |
The 21st century is the Chinese century, most likely. If the price of oil and natural gas drops into the basement that will mark the end of the 'Russian' century.
The American century lasted from 1945 - 1965.
Okay, back to nomadic sex slaves. I'm told that John Norman's " Chronicles of Gor." series is reccommended for anyone interested in a fictional look at nomadic sex slaves. "Outlaw of Gor," "Nomads of Gor," "Slave Girl of Gor," and so on. One wit said he was surprised Norman never wrote "Sado-Masochists of Gor," but that pretty much sums up the series.

Bad dentristry resulted in the defeat of Valens at the battle of Hadrianopolis in 378 AD. He had a massive toothache that day.
The Visigoths cured his toothache by cutting off his head.

Fuggedabout novels and films. There are a number of classical Chinese poems about Cai Wenji, a young woman from a family of aristocratic literati, who was kidnapped by Xiongnu nomads (often equated with the Huns) and taken off into the wild steppes of the north. She remained captive for about 12 years, during which time she was made to marry one of the nomadic chieftains (possibly after having been made his concubine). A much later (13th century) handscroll (now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC), painted during the Yuan dynasty, details her sad plight and her life in exile. Lady Wenji wrote her own poems about her years in captivity, and later poets created their own versions of the story.

There may have indeed been sex slaves, but not major enough to change the DNA composition of Han Chinese. Both northern and southern Han Chinese are still overwhelming majority Haplogroup O3 and O3a5. Mongols are mostly Haplogroup C3.
