Topic: Canadian government using wikipedia? Posted: 07-Sep-2007 at 18:49
I heard that Conservative government editted a wikipedia article about the former prime minister of Canada, Paul Martin. It is said that Paul Martin was the worst prime minister in Canadian history.
Is it true? If so, how do they know it was Conservative Party that did this?
There's a new website that allows you to link organizations with specific edits, I think there was even a thread about it on here . I forget what it's called, but it was in the news very recently and embarassed some people.
However, it's not necessarily "The Offical Conservative Party" doing it, it just means that someone using their computer did it. A volunteer? A bored staff member? Or the Junior Fellow in Charge of Web-Smearing the Opposition?

Or it could have been liberal member, trying to reduce popularity and credibility of Conservative Party. Who knows?

If they edited it they have got a point. Remember Kim Campbell.
