Actually according to the laws we know its quite possible. If you can establish a wormhole, then it doesn't matter whether you go between two points in space, or two points in time. Its all space-time.

It always seems to me the best attribute I would have transported back into ancient times would be knowing how to build a sailing vessel faster ans more manoeuvrable than anything anybody else would have, without needing any technology not available there (at least from the Bronze age on).
I just have a bermuda-rigged sloop in mind, carrying messages.
