Nature never cease to amaze me - but take a look yourself.

The importance of a family.

Who said "Scared like a Rabbit"?

Don't miss all the other great videos about animals - these are just appetizers.

...The water buffalo film was pretty harrowing to watch, and it has to be said, i felt for the young calf but the result i guess meant the lion's went hungry that day, but what drama, who needs human beings....

..as for the rabbit, what on earth was he/she on???....i have seen rabbits do some pretty brave stuff in the wild(once saw a rabbit see off a raging Jack Russell terrier) but to tackle a snake!!...interesting to watch the snake try and escape by launching itself into a nearby tree!!!....don't mess with the cute furry floppy with the big ears...blimey...

Gotta love youtube. Pride of lions ambush water buffalo scouts. Jr. scout gets tripped up and appears to be dinner untill the whole army surrounds the lions. Buffalos in perfect rank then surround the attakers. They would have made Hannibal proud. Eventually the biggest, baddest of 'em all takes a swipe and rockets one lion into orbit.

Silly wabbit. Snakes are for kids.

Amazing videos Northman. The first is epic. I have never seen that before, a three way "battle" on the savannah. I do hope to film and witness this one day. And the sheer power of the crocodile, versing 3 or 4 lions! Magnificent.

I'll make a contribution two of a very mind perplexing natural phenomenon - big cats fostering the young, of their prey! It has been noted in Leopards and Lions, and documentaries have been dedicated to it. Strange thing is, this behaviour is displayed multiple times in the same cat. You must watch this:

Leopard fosters young baboon

Unfortunately I cannot find the video of the lioness fostering oryx calves, but I'll look out for it.
