Second round of the World Championship 1978 in Argentina.
Italy, Holland, Austria and Germany had qualified for one of the final groups.

After matches against Italy (0:0) and Holland (2:2) he german team needed a win against austria to have chance for the final or the small final.

In Austria this event is named as the miracle of cordoba, don't no why.

The german team was disgraced, team manager Sch�n retired after the WC and four years later both teams were involved in the scandal of Gijon.
