Duel: Medival VS Ancients (eg.Celts, Romans)

In the event of such a hypothetical battle, I would say the medival army, the technological advances would simply overwhelm the ancients.  The ancients didn't have the means to really stop heavy cavalry, no pikes, nor did they have any HC of their own, thanks to the lack of stirrups and lances.  The longbowmen would vastly outrange anything that the ancients could throw at them, and I wouldn't want to see what happens when hoplites and roman legionaries tried to close with halberdiers.  Additionally, the medivals would be more heavily armored and their infantry units would have better swords, they could outreach anything that the ancients threw at them.  Not to mention the fact that most ancients would be fighting with iron while the medivals would be using steel.
