What about it is racist or like Stormfront? Ethnic groups from Japan to Hungary and Scandinavia, no matter their differences in physical appearances, are communicating with each other in multiple languages including English. There's not even an anthropology section in the forum.

Looks like some kind of Turanian version of Stormfront.

Pan-Turanism is a little far fetched in my opinion, the union of Hungarians, Turks, Koreans, Mongols, Japanease... I can't see it happening but if they wish to build relations and friendship theres no harm in that.

I checked the site, to be honest it doesn't seem like a Turanian version of Stormfront.

Inter-Racial marriage/dating

Now no self respecting member of Stormfront could agree with inter-racial"ethnic" marriage/dating.

However, there is a variety of views in the above site, most the members didn't have a major problem with mixing. There were a few members with racist views and also a few who criticised them for holding racist views.

Kafkas you are new here and probably don't know what happened a while ago in AE. We had a Pan-Turkism grip a while ago and some members went so far calling almost every human being pseudo- Turkic and so on. Then we had a lot of flame wars between some ultra nationalist members, a lot of threads got locked and many members got banned. Our forum was a disaster those days. We had a lot of greatest, bravest, best, strongest and etc threads which were repeating the same thing over and over. Our Admins and Mods got frustrated with fighting with those members to keep our forum clean.

All Pan-ultra nationalistic Ideas and forums lead to racism in some extend.

Taken from Turania:

What is Turan:

Turan is the ancient Iranian name for Central Asia, literally meaning "the land of the Tur". The original Turanians, an Iranian people appear in the Avesta age as described below. According to Shahnameh's account, at least 1500 years later after the Avesta, the nomadic tribes who inhabited these lands, were ruled by Tur who was the emperor Fereydun's elder son. In modern discourse, it is primarily an ideological term designating Turkic, Mongolic and Ugric languages and people more or less indiscriminately, implying a common ancestry and common culture of the various ethnicities in question. The association with Turkic cultures is also primarily based on the Shahnameh accounts referring to inhabitants of Turan as Turks.

Who are the Turanians:

The Turanian Tribes originate from a large area in Central Asia between Mongolia and Turkistan, the origin of several west surges of attacking tribes. One group of these Turanians which moved west were called Turks. Those who settled down in Russia were called Tartars, while those who remained at the borders of China, and moved west, were called Mongols. The arrival of these tribes, who were tent-living nomads.

The waves of Turanian tribes, including the Huns, Seljuk Turks, Mongols, Turkmens and the Ottoman Turks, into the Middle East and Asia Minor were staggered and became constantly stronger and larger.

Right across northern Europe and Asia, from the Baltic to the Pacific and from the Mediterranean to the Arctic Ocean, there stretches a vast band of peoples to whom some ethnologists have in the late 19th and early 20th century assigned the name of "Uralic-Altaic race" (no longer in use) but who are more generally termed as "Turanians". This group embraces the most widely scattered folk - the Ottoman Turks of Constantinople and Anatolia, the Turcomans of Central Asia and Persia, the Tartars of South Russia and Transcaucasia, the Magyars of Hungary, the Finns of Finland and the Baltic provinces, the aboriginal tribes of Siberia, and even the distant Mongols and Manchus .

The Turanians have certainly been the greatest conquerors and empire-builders that the world has ever seen: Atilla and his Huns, Arpad and his Magyars, Isperich and his Bulgars, Alp Arslan and his Seljuks, Ertogrul and his Ottomans, Genghis Khan and Tamerlane with their "inflexible" Mongol hordes, Baber in India, even Kubilai Khan and Nurhachu in far-off Cathay - the hoof-print of the Turanian "man on horseback" is stamped deep all over the palimpsest of history.
---------------------------------------

Background info on Tur:
Tur is a character in the Persian epic Shahnameh. He is the second son of the legendary Iranian king Fereydun and brother of both Salm and Iraj. His name, meaning brave, was given to him by his father when the young prince bravely fights the dragon that had attacked him and his brothers. When Fereydun divides his empire among his sons, he gives Turkistan and China to his second son Tur. This is the beginning of the nation of Turan, the neighbor and rival of the Iranians. Some of the most important characters of Shahnameh, such as Afrasiab, are his descendants.

kafkas thanks for the insight, amazing, so Turkish lore is mixed with Persian lore and in essence the Persians influenced the Turks. Got to give the nod, the people of Turan are one of the greatest conquerors the world has even seen.
