Ihssan Barakat - Jordan�s first woman Chief of Cou

A very significant event for Arab women just recently occurred. Forty-three year old Ihssan Barakat, became the first woman chief of the Court of Instance in West Amman. This is the first time in the country�s history that a woman is holding said position, and is, therefore, a very important achievement for Arab women.
