Topic: The people of Rajasthan Posted: 07-Apr-2007 at 20:37 |
i was watching a documentary on Rajasthan and its people and one thing struck me there were villagers with green and blue eyes and also many people had blonde and brown hair also people were mostly fairskinned. My question does anyone know who these people are? is this found in some paticular village in Rajasthan or all over Rajasthan?

Rajasthan is very diverse in its racial makeup and interestingly there is also this peculiar hue of red which is exhibited by many of that area. This is a picture of me (mom has roots in rajasthan)

Hi Ashok,
I have already written in another thread which is locked.
Mr. Rajputana has issued a threat to me also to fix at my own place but I dont take this kind of direct attacks seriously and that too on internet. It was in response to one my post which I have written when he was trying to insult Jats.
We all know that in independent India he can not fix anybody and as far as taking the law in his own hand goes, there are many Gujjars and Jats much more capable in those areas but fortunately do not read these English forums but as law abiding citizens we should discourage them all.
Moreover we are to make new friends here and if we can not win more people as we can certainly try to stop bitterness atleast from our end.
With regards.

It seems as if commonsense is not so common amongst some after all. Didn't know that Phd students in India were having such difficulty with the english language, personally I think its the fault of the quote system for allowing backward castes their 'due share' even when the students lack the basic fundamentals of comprehension.
Your AP Brother cant shed any light on Pundir Rajputs, trust me we have a long extensive history and we have Bards lol, you guys should stick to finding out the history of gujjar jhuggis in India lol.
I dont know how gujjars are born but in normal situations you have a the mother and the father so you have two surnames...now amongst Rajputs (I dont know how its done amongst your people) we take the surname of the Father and both mother and father need be RAJPUT...so hence I take the surname of my father (Pundir).

Now this is more than likely a threat and its on the interent ! By the way who's 'derailing' the topic now?? Cant believe this sort of threat is allowed on this immature forum.
