   Showering how often--It all depends on the level of acceptability, and
the overall practice(such as your daily showering practice of
Bostonians), although weather does matter a lot.  Desert storms
are not a problem in most of Mongolia, unless you meant the sand storms
in spring.   They are vicious. 

Only noticible polluted place in Mongolia is Ulaanbaatar city(do your
sinuses a favor and do not come to Ulaanbaatar at winter
time).   Summer is a blast though, w00t!!! 

Yes, I DO NOT shower daily.  I DO NOT smell bad either.   Unless you wanna take a sniff of my feet point blank.
