What if all four were to meet in battle?Alexander's Macedonian troops against Darius' Persian troops(of course we all know this happend)fighting against the Roman troops also fighting off the hordes of Mongolian troops from the Steppes. That would be amazing if that were to happen? What is your take on this event if it had to happend? What would you have seen?

I'd say Macedonians over Persians(obviously).

Romans vs Mongols that would be a tougher call. It depends on the quality of the Roman General. Does he get suckered into attacking into a feigh retreat of the mongols? If so Mongols. A Roman Infantry vs Mongol Cavalry matchup. I'd say the Mongols have the edge but not by much, Romans are a tough customer even if they got surrounded they will go down swinging, inflicting a heavy price on the Mongols.

I would give it to the Mongols.  The Mongols would easily be able to outnumber the Romans in cavalry, and this is what the Romans failed to understand, as shown by their inability to stop the Carthiginian horsemen at Cannae.  The Romans never built a strong cavalry wing.

Alexander's Macedonian troops against Darius' Persian troops(of course we all know this happend)

Yes this happened and Darius the Great defeated Macedonian troops and conquered Macedonia, Alexander, the king of Macedonia, served him as a General until Darius died in 486 BC.

Actually I was talking about Darius's Persian Empire and Alexander the Great's Macedonia in 2nd Century BC.Alexander defeated Darius' army countless times, and took over Persia.

It would be the Mongols rolling over everyone else with their horse archers, bombs, and Chinese/Korean auxillary soldiers + Chinese/Persian siege engineers.

From what I know, the Romans didn't do well against the Parthians, a horse archer type of people.

The roman didn't even do well against the northern invaders, like the huns and visigoths. What I think is that if all met on the battlefield, together, the mongols would have the upper advantage in terms of calvary, but they would have to pass through Alexander's calvary as well. The Roman infantry would do well with hand to hand combat against the mongols, the persians could use their archery to do waste with them, but the mongol calvary would still be able to reach them.

My count:Alexaner+Mongols Calvary=tie

Persians+Roman=Roman

Persians+Mongols=tie

Mongols+Romans=Mongols

Romans+Alexander=tie

Roman+Mongol+Alexander+Persia=Full on massacre

Massacre. But MAcedonian flag will be the last standing :}

First the time is very important. The since advanced a lot. If they all have the same weapons ... noone will match Aleksandar.

Its like ... What if I am fully armed with guns and bombs (sniper would be a bonus, not to talk about tank or something like that), against any of those armies.

First of all they would consider me as GOD for my firepower, and noone would fight me.
