Topic: Quotes - Indispensable in everyday life ? Posted: 22-Oct-2006 at 16:42 |
Quotes of popular music, modern arts or loony american tv-series. Everybody is using quotes and sometimes it seems , that life is only a copy and paste thing.
Speeches of famous politicians , gesture of prosperous actors, athletes or politicians.
Easy to understand and easy to repeat.
The ad often is an only quote and popular ad campaigns will be recognized in the whole world.
So, do you use quotes and what's about the initiator ? do you mention him?

They are good every once in a while, but I really hate to overuse quotes for fear or becoming too cliqued or unoriginal.

I” and “you” are but the lattices,
in the niches of a lamp,
through which the One Light shines.

I shall express my opinion by quoting Oscar Wilde on quoting... "Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.

Not necessarily easy to undersand ulrich but easy to repeat for sure.
You need only two persons to form a queue, the others will just follow.
Since everyone seems to think about reducing energy spending, people should stop thinking, for using the brain cells is extremely energy costing to our body. There's no wonder why some people say: "My toaster is smarter than me!".
"Why are you doing this?"
"Because HE/THEY say we should do this."
"Did he/they explained why?"
"Yes"
"Did he/they convinced you?"
"Not really. But since he/they are so popular I don't bother with thinking abou what I'm doing. I'm just doing it because he/they told me that I should do it"
"People are not doing what they are expected to, they are doing what they are inspected to"

Not necessarily. Only if by "not work" they mean stopped. If the clock lost 1 minute an hour. Then it will not be right twice per day (at best, once per day)

Humans beings that leave from this the world are not lost, when we continue to honouring and loving them.
We contribute therefore also at some way in their unending survival, in their floruit, with our effort becomes always perceptible, live around us their presence.
