Thanks to all who answered.
I'd like to discuss some of the replies (if that's ok). I'm in the process of doing some further research on the subject, and in the coming days I'll add some comments if that's ok.
I actually think he specifically adopted Persian modes of government because they were so much more effective for running such a large empire. The Hellenic people had no experience administering such a vast state, so it was necessary for Alexander to simply emulate Persian government in order to perpetuate their very effective method of administration. If this meant adopting oriental dress, court protocol and becoming an oriental despot then that was simply what had to be done.
Concur, many have done the same since, languages and customs of various courts have been persian.
Alexander definately despized Persia, but that was before he got a chance to meet the people. After he conquered them, he fell in love with the culture and the people which came along with what he later saw and learned.
Before the Macedonians became the masters of Greece, the Greeks hated Persians more than they hated themselves. But after Philip ll, the Greeks actually hated Macedon more than they hated Persia.
Penelope don't you understand that its boring, here it id a history forum, not propagandiski slavomakedonski.
PS Why would Alexander despized Persians if he wasn't Greek? I... think that there was a Greco-Persian war thats why thhere was this image for the Persians.
