is there any relation among the German & Kerman (a province of Persia)???
Were they same people????

Historical documents refer to Kerman as "Karmania," "Kermania", "Germania" and "ermanya," which means bravery and combat. Geographers have recorded Kerman's ancient name as "Go'asheer" (Bardesheer).

Germania was inhabited by different tribes, mostly Germanic but also including Celtic, Baltic, Slavic and Scythian, or steppe elements.

Oh...Not really Smile

In both Arabic and Turkish, with being not sure about the Persian, German is called "Alman"-"Aleman", while Kerman is the English name for the province called "Kirman".

Alman comes from French to Arabic, Turkish and Persian - it is derived from the ancient Germanic tribe the Alamanni.  I think, though I am not sure, Germany also comes from the namesake tribe of the Germanics through Latin. Germany was not a nation until 1869 (IIRC).

Karmania is today's Kerman province in eastern Iran.  I believe the name similarity is coincidental.

The etymology of the Latin word "Germania" simply is unknown. There are as many theories as there are Germans.
The German never called themselves "germans" in their own language, in fact they only started to call themselves "Deutsch" in the High Middle Ages, before that they used their tribal names, of which Alemani ( see above)was only one.
That there is a Persian province with a similar sounding name is simply coincidence. There is no historical evidence at all that migrations happened in either direction.
