THESSALONIKI, Greece (AP) -- Archaeologists have unearthed a massive tomb in the northern Greek town of Pella, capital of the ancient kingdom of Macedonia and birthplace of Alexander the Great.

This is cool, really cool. I mean it's probably not Alexander himself, but it's still cool to find something like this in his hometown.

For the size of the tomb it could well be that of a monarch.

Don't know why, but even though the article doesn't clarify it, I have this crazy feeling that there were no Slavic inscriptions found ...

Better luck next time..

No problem Fort Brooklyn.  Actually the most important is the archaelogical  continent of the discover , and SPECIALLY    the three marble funerary stelae and a number of ceramic vessels  that were found inside the cave.

Yes, I read about this discovery. According to this article, it's size suggests it belonged to a wealthy Macedonian family. It certainly is a big one - eight chambers and dated to the Hellenistic Age between the fourth and second century B.C.
