Whats the point? All I see is some newspaper
insulted muslims so the muslims boycotted. Both
actions are entirely legal. Although I think the
muslims here have to be a little more mature, be
above the insults. Anyone at any given time has the
right to express themselves freely and if those
expressions insult you, then suck it up. Thats what
the rest of the world has to do. How are muslims any
different. Ive seen muslims Arabs burning the US
flag on T.V.! Completely discusting, but all the same
their right to free-speech. Im an American christian
and we all know that America has its christian critics,
does it really bother me that much? No. Its their
opinion and I respect it. Besides those critics dont
weaken my faith, neither I presume do these critics
weaken the Islamic worlds faith, so whats the big
deal. Once we start conforming free-speech then
where does it end? Everybody must honor
free-speech and like I said earlier muslims werent
doing anything illegal when they boycotted, just a lil
swift or immature, again you gotta be above these
discusting insults.

I'm starting to agree with this point of view, since
Moller's post. But the thing is - if the papers have a
right to print these cartoons, then we have a right to
be offended and to respond in any legal ways we
deem necessary.

If you don't have to suck it up, neither do we. So it
goes both ways.

Those people burning Danish flags can't do that and
at the same time whine about being insulted, and
those people who support the right to print such
needlessly offensive cartoons can't, at the same
time, whine about the consequences.

So you are trying to explain? You said we are hopeless.

No, I said that your lives are sad. Hm! The 'teacher' failing . . .

By the way, Yeah They are immigratint to EU, but acording to report they are already more happy than Europeans.

Happiness is an subjective parameter; maybe the syrians are even more "happy" then western muslims. Got ti?

Youre right it is their democratic right, but whats it do? Theres still gonna be pics like this and people who express their views that probably will seem offensive to you and other muslims. Just live with it. The muslim world really need to learn to pick their battles more wisely, cause this one is just a lost cause. Free speech will always be protected, it has to be. There is no other way around it.

not too many . . .  I think to any moment, were more turks seeking jobs in romania, then romanians seeking jobs in turkey. But i said, seeking jobs, buying houses, doesn't prove anything concerning the sadness one feel thin, kming to the lives of people in middle east.

You're actually argueing all people in the Middle East
are somehow unhappy with their lives?

And you say I'm the extremist? Nicely done.

By the way - it's more than a few. At least count, in
Bosnia alone, more than 200,000 people from
Eastern Europe - mainly Romania - pass through
the country illegally every year.

Of all the arrests and deporations made so far, and
there have been thousands, ALL have been
Romanian, Ukrainian or Moldovan prostitutes.

So what are they fleeing that's so wonderful in
Romania?

Yes. Some one without the freedom of speech, or free elections, or gneder equality, should be pitied, though he can feel he's happy? Any questions?

Pass through, western europe as destination.

Of all the arrests and deporations made so far, and there have been thousands, ALL have been Romanian, Ukrainian or Moldovan prostitutes.

Prostitution was largely stimulated by the western presence in bosnia, where the "foreigneres" compete with the autochtones.Same case on the western E. "market".

So what are they fleeing that's so wonderful in
Romania?

well, not big deal undestood, sister. Romania, though not so bad as arab world countries, still has a lot to do from the democratical and economical point of view. I was speaking about objectively analysing the state of some freedoms in arab world, not denying the right or poss. of people to feel happy there.

Isn't that way off-topic?

Yes, the guy in my avatar is John Walker Lindh. And no, he wasn't fighting against American troops.  (Start a new thread for this one if you want, but I'm not going to answer any more off-topic questions on this thread, sorry.)
