USA/Axis war in north america: who would win?

No one wants to adress wnat would have happened if the Axis powes took Europe the turned to the USA to conqure. Or if the Soviets won and got greedy about land, so this is the first of a two part post.

Here is the most likely scenario IMO:

Operation Barbarosa is a success, the UK loses the battle of brittan and is either beaten to the point that there is not enough left to mount any real insurgency or surrender to save what is left. The Nazis blow through Africa and hold the easter hemisphere wit the exeption of the USSR. The azis take Iceland and Greenland. They pause for a year or so to build up an Operation Overlord type invasion of the east coast.

Durring this time, the USA and Canada, the only two allies left un-occupied would probably set the facts out to mexico who had a fair amount of military aged males but little in the way of means to stand alone itself. The mexican goverment, seeing that if they did not cast their lot with the Allies could very well become subjicated to the Axis powers would throw their lot with the Allies.

Brazil would become the south american anchor with help from the USA and Canada.

The Nazis attack en mass, probably 250-300 miles north of the uSA-Canadian border (even today 88% of Canada's approximately 35 million citizens live within 100 miles of the border) They sweep in from the north into the north east to new york.

The IJA (though i doubt this level of co-operation was actualy possible) lands the same distance from the USA-Canadian Border on the west coast of canada. (for all you Europeans, the west coast of the USA did not become populated untill after WW II)

The USA now has a two front war on its own soil........
