I'm not sure how many are familiar with the topic.  The Molly McGuires were a group of Irish coalminers, in South Eastern Pennsylvania (along with certain parts of other States in the coalmining region) who were hanged for the murder of one of their Welsh superiors/supervisors.

Over the years, there have been two main sides to their history: Those who believe the Molly McGuires were truly guilty of the murder and those that believe the Molly McGuires were framed.

This is an area of history that interests me, as I am from South Eastern Pennsylvania and have visited the mines, mining villages, and even the Old Jail in which some of the men were excecuted.

For those of you who know the history, which of the two sides are you inclined to believe?

For those of you who are not familiar with the history, what do you want to know?
