If I remember my European history, in the late 1400's or early 1500's Pope Alexander VI (not sure if he was VI or not, and too lazy to check Tongue) literally divided the world up between Spain and Portugal. And I remember something about the Treaty of Tordesillas. Anyways, I know that's vague, I hope it answers your question. Either that or give you a lead to look it up on the net. Wink
