Why don't we have a Mongol: Total War?
After playing the Genghis Khan Series by Koei, I think the concept can be adopted by Creative Assembly and elaborated with good 3-D graphics.
I propose 3 different eras, just like Genghis Khan Series.
For the campaign mode:
The turns will be divided into Spring, Winter, Autumn, and Winter. Each year is 4 turns.
1. Starting date 1189: Rise of Genghis Khan
Starting states:
Mongol clan of Genghis Khan, clan of Jamuka, clan of Wang Khan, Tartars, Naimans, Karakhitan Empire, Hsi Hsia Kingdom, Jin Empire, Southern Song Empire, Korean Kingdom, Japan, Girud Empire, Kwarasmian Shah Empire, Dominions of the Ayuubids, Sultanate of Rum, Byzantine Empire, Cumans, Bulgars, People of Novograd and Vladmir, Assassins, Almohads, Holy Roman Empire, Venetians, Hungarians, Poland, Danes, England, France, Castille, Papacy, etc
2. Starting date 1227: Expansion of Mongol Empire
Starting states:
Mongol Empire at the death of Genghis Khan, Sultanate of Dehli, Jin Empire, Southern Song Empire, Korea, Japan, Nan Chao Kingdom, Assassins, Dominion of the Ayuubids, Sultanate of Rum, Latin Empire, Byzantine Empire, Russian Princes, Poland, Cumans, Venetians, Castille, England, France, Holy Roman Empire, Hungarians, Papacy, etc
3. Starting date 1271: Mongol Khanates at War
Starting states:
Yuan Dynasty, Japan, Burma, Vietnam, Sultanate of Delhi, Ogedei Khanate under Kaidu, Chagatai Khanate, IlKhanate, Golden Horde, Byzantine Empire, Mamluke Sultanate, Hungarians, Polish, Russian Princes, Holy Roman Empire, England, Scotland, France, Denmark, Castille, Papacy, etc
Expansion Pack: The Rise of Tamerlane
Starting date 1371
Starting states:
Timurd Empire, Sultanate of Delhi, Mongol Yuan in Mongolia, Ming Dynasty, Choson, Japan, Golden Horde, Russia, Mamluke Sultanate, Sultanate of the Ottomans, Byzantine Empire, Hungarians, Holy Roman Empire, France, England, Danes, Merenids, Hafisids, Venetians, Castille, Aragon, Serbians, Papacy, etc
Historical Campaigns:
1. Kwaramizian Campaign (1219-25)
2. European Campaign (1236-41)
3. Hulegu's Campaign (1256-60)

Maybe you want to replace the name 'Mongol' to either Mongol-Tatar', or 'Turco-Mongol Tribes', or 'Turkic Tribes' then the heading might be right.
We are thinking of doing such a theme either as a full mod for TotalWar or as a stand-alone game, in the wildturks group,( this is even though at the moment everybody is busy to an extent that we havent even upped the site yet) anyway if we do decide on it, it will be ready by this December.
The Khan: Total war is supposedly about 'so be Mongol Conquests' post 1200 A.D. but the mod team thats doing it seems to be 'historically challanged' since some of the people that get labeled as mongol are not mongol at all from any view, and they have mass time/period errors with these and some graphics also..
The Khanates that we were thinking are the turkic Ghaznavids, Seljuks, Khwarezm shahs, Volga Bulgaria, Khazars, Kara khanid khanate, Uigur state, Pechengs, Gokturks, and their enemies.. this corresponds to a period of about 586-1200 AD..
Why, well the two major games that the group is working on are the 'Seljuks', and the 'Turkic Tribes', we've already got and are modelling for these, have done quite a bit of picture, history research and have existing scenarios, so making a simple mod for RTS game such as TW or RTW would be easy..
(p.s. There is also a Byzantium Mod for TW which seems to be better than the Khan but they have similar problems I mentioned above and arent quite on the road yet..)
There is a Khan Total War Mod for Rome Total War that I believe has
been released or will be soon. As for Creative Assembly creating a
Mongol Total War as good as suggested above, I doubt it. Creative
Assembly seems to care little about historical accuracy.
i think this game will content more, from the time 1500 BC, begin with the scene in north-west nomadic states in China in the Warring state. Then time will change to the 250 BC when the Xiongnu (Hun) defeat the Yuezhi in the northwest and Donghu in the northeast of China and also many small ethnic states in China before the period of Qin Dynasty. After that the next campaign is a war in from 2nd century to 7th century AD in China with Xianbei, Tiele, Dingling, Touba, Murong, Duan, Yuwen, Rouran, Western,Eastern and Northern Gokturk, Northern and Southern Xiongnu, Red Hun (kidarite) and White Hun(hephthalites), Uighur Khaganate, Yenisei Kighiz, Xiyu states (the part of Xiyu states should be made as a private mod name Silkroad Total war), Kara Khitan, Tuyuhun (East and West), Tibetan Empire, Khitan empire(liao dynasty, Post Liao Dynasty, Northern Liao Dynasty) , Jurchen of Jin Dynasty,Yuan Dynasty, Northern Yuan, Eastern Xia and Western Xia (tangut), Tai people (Nanchao Empire), nations in the 16 states and five barbarian tribes Period, Mongol Khagmag, Zubu, Kiyad( Borjin clan of Genghis Khan), Tatar, Merkit, Kerait, Naiman, Oirat people (Zunghar Khaganate), Chagatai Khaganate. The Expansion of this are Silkroad Total war, Steppe Total War ( include all the empires on Euro-Asia Grassland from 5th century AD to 19 th century AD such as: Kipchak, Cuman, Rus Khaganate, Pecheneg Khaganate, East And West Chagatai Khaganate.....)
Hello and welcome aboard. Haven't had a legitimate member from Vietnam in some time. Good to see you.

Unknown.
I suggest we should creat mod for Rome Total war name Islamic Persian.
it's will begin with the colapsion of Hulagu Horfe ( Ilkhanate). Many
states are establish from the ash of Hulagu's Horde.: Muzaffarids,
Kartid, Chobanid, Eretnid, Sabadar, Jalayirid, Injuids, Timurid, Qara Qoyunlu and Aq Qoyunlu of Turcoman, the Safavid, Hotaki Dynasty, Afsharid of Nadir Shah, Zand Dynasty, Durrani Empire from Afghanistan and the rise of Qajar dynasty
i think we should make the Total war mod name Genghisid Total war: the legend from the stepe. It's all about the Genghis Khan and the first days of Mongol Khagante. the location is Siberia, Mogolia, Manchuria, Northern China, Xinjiang and Central Asia. It include many factions such as -The Kiyad tribe ( the unique force is the Genghisid noble warrior): it 's the Genghis khan's original clan -The Jadran clan (non-playable faction): it's belong to the 1st enemy of Genghis Khan, Jamukha. They sometimes ally with Genghis Khan's clan but sometimes they ally with his enemy. The dangerous point of this clan is that they can gather Genghis Khan's enemies under one flag, command them attack Genghis Khan. When the Kiyad tribe has a riot, Jadran tribe will attack it. this is the clan of Betray -The Tatar (non-playble faction): the strongest and rich clan on the stepe and they was supported by the Jin Dynasty -The Kerait of Wang Khan: strong, and they are alos the Christian believers -The Merkit in Baikal area: savage and barbarian, they used to kidnap Borte -the Taichiyud - they are part of Mongol Khamag but they betray the Kiyad. Genghis Khan was used to be their prisoner. They have no mercy in war. They are war-like but also poor -The Onggirat : Clan of Genghis khan's Father-in-law. Richest , and they are also the agricultural tribe. They have a good trade with all the tribes on the stepe -The Naiman - tribe on Altai range Factions in Manchuria: After Liao (Khitan) Dong Liao or Eastern Liao (Khitan) Dong Xia or Eastern Xia (Jurchen may be) Yilan Wowo Emperor of Khitan revolution Jin dynasty Water Tatar (Jurchen people who live in Manchu- the original land of Jin Dynasty, they are basiclly independent with the Jin) Goryeo Faction in the West Xi Xia Xi Liao ( Kara Khitan) The Uighur tribe in Gaochang (Gaochang Uighur) The Factions in Siberia Forest: Oirat Tuva Buryat Khori Tumed Uriankhai Tuva Barkhujin
