Marx said, other philosophers only tried to interpret the world;
he was going to change it; but he was wise enough not to say “for the better”; he was even wiser when he said, “I am not a Marxist!”

The bloodthirsty disposition of the few
and the cowardice of the many:
there you have it – an abridged history of mankind.

Unbelievable but true: Suleiman the Magnificent once wrote a poem in praise of a contemporary Turkish poet.

If you understand 99 things
you will be brought low by that single thing

Politics and big business:

they are both conducted by individuals

without a conception of right and wrong.

This is as true of Turks as it is of Americans,

and we are no better.

As is anyone who attempts to lump us Yanks in with the others. Trump is not a leader, he's a "wannabe".
Even if he wins the election, which is highly doubtful, he still wouldn't be a political leader.

A historian is not judged by the degree of his patriotism, nationalism, loyalty or subersvience to a power structure, but by his honesty and impartiality. For more on this subject see Michael Grant’s GREEK AND ROMAN HISTORIANS: INFORMATION AND MISINFORMATION (London, 1995).

ISLAMOPHOBIA
********************************
We are told Islamophobia
is racist nonsense.
What we are not told is that
no one in his right mind
could be for sharia and jihad.
