hi im Mario from Malta im not that intense or fan on guns but my father has an old pistol we know that its an old pistol but we don't know exactly of which year was been used we where thinking of 18c, 
can some one recognise it. it still work even when you pull on the trigger it fires.

even there is written on it XI and GNDAN does it make sens for you?

A better photo of the whole gun, pref. taken in daylight, would help a great deal.  Also, is this a flintlock, or was it made to accept percussion caps.

There does exist listings of individual makers of firearms.  Your piece would appear to be a one of.
