Mostly Vietnamese who worked with the Americans, and some of the Hmong and Montagnard tribesmen. We abandoned most of our indigenous allies to their fate.
Also, a number of South Vietnamese officers, officials, pilots and their families flew out to American carriers in such numbers that the helos had to be shoved off the decks into the ocean to clear landing space for the next bunch.
Someday that will make some underwater archaeologist very curious - a pile of helos lying on the seabed in one spot.
