And to change the subject for a moment....as you predicted...I am finding the paucity of info on pre-Islamic worship prior to the great Prophet...irritating to say the least. I ntl am stumbling thru the Ad and Majan's at this point.

Didn't catch what you mean by Ad and Majan's... Care to explain?

But all in all I can tell you that info is so scarce... I'm starting to think that most pagan Arabs were Jewish idolators a bit like what happened during the time of Elijah... It's a theory and it's just as good as any other seeing as info is so scarce.

Very interesting, didn't know there was a thriving culture in the southern Arabian Peninsula so far back.

About 'Ad some people think it may be a reference to the old city of Ubar.
