I don't normally endorse genealogical related sites as they are often to wrapped up into the accumulation of money interests rather then the historical. And at the expense of the user-scholar or just interested individual attempting to learn about his family's past. However in fairness.. this link is not of that type. And is an exception. I know this University well and the project they have started is a valuable and insightful one that can indeed offer insights of significant historical value.
