Interesting looking piece, Nick. Any idea what it's made from?
What a handsome figure of a dragon. No wonder I fall madly in love with the Alani Dragon now, the avatar, it's a gorgeous dragon picture.

The lock and folding trigger are probably from a pocket "muff pistol," but the barrel could have come from a Queen Anne.

French made 1796
<span style=": rgb235, 233, 227; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px;">This cutlass with brass hilt and folding guard, featuring flintlock pistols on either side of the blade, was a combination weapon well suited for a privateer’s hand-to-hand combat. The sword grip is leather, with the date “1796” engraved on the back strap. After both barrels were fired, the cutlass could be used.
