I assume that these are indeed meant to be German swastikas based upon their color. However in Asia, it is possible to see swastika jewelry worn by Buddhists, usually a gold swastika amulet around the neck, though more prefer an actual image of the Buddha. The swastika was a Buddhist symbol long before Germany was a nation, and you can see its motif in many Buddhist temples decorations and grill work. Even the Seoul subway system has a fair amount of it.

The Hopi and Navajo also consider the swatika a sacred symbol.
I find this a little crazy. I had students who had a swastika tatooed on their necks etc. And they are getting twisted over earrings?
This isn't something new folks.

Swastika was used as symbol long before Buddha and Buddhism by Aryan people, for example this famous Gold Rhyton from the north of Iran was built hundreds years before Buddha:
And this Golden necklace of three Swastikas which was also found in the north of Iran dates back to 3000 years ago:

You can reverse the necklace and they will be the same!
Of course ancient Aryan Swastikas were usually opposite to the direction of Indian ones.
