I finally saw this great movie or also called Political Kitchen in Greek. The movie seemed so sur-real in parts and it was nothing like I had expected. Most of the Greeks have left Istanbul but when I was there I still saw their signs. I did not realize the Greeks loved this city so much. My late Papoo was born in Istanbul/Constantinople and even his immigration papers says Constanope. In 1955 there were about 300,000 Greeks in the city but now less than 2,000. it is sad but I don't believe most Turks encouraged it and many close friend were seperated. I believe the movie show this and does not reflect on the Turks in a negative manner.
