This "theory" was proposed and promoted by Conservative Jonah Goldberg when his book "Liberal Fascism" came out in 2008. Since then, hes become very popular with Conservatives, and appears on shows like Glenn Beck's.

His "theory" is discredited and even people he used as sources for his book have come out saying that he misrepresented them in his book.

Its simply not true, just more right wing propaganda. Fascism is, in fact, a right wing phenomenon, although when it was created in the early 20th century, it did incorporate some leftists beliefs. But it began moving to the right in the 1920's, and is a right wing ideology.

Indeed, maybe I should have addressed this little problem earlier, and called it what others have termed it "the Facist Left?"

As big of a bureaucracy as Obamacare will become I see this very possibility.   Ramael talked about rationing and that the needs of a 26 year old was greater than say a 67 year old. Why do you ignore this? There is some degree of rationing already but will it get worse with Obama care – time will tell.

Ahhh Death Panels for a socialised Health Care System. We've had a socialised health care system here in the UK for 60 years, but as of yet no death panels. Why must you therefore have them in the US?
