Who will become the moderators of the different boards? The same people as in the ancient AE?

I propose so.
Of course, first of all, all of them have to re-register. Some may not even know that the forum is up again. Do we have e-mails so we can inform people?
Anyway, I can have back Greek empires and general world history. I can help with some more until more people step in as moderators.
Cheers, Yiannis

I agree with Yannis, however though, if some decline, or do not show up, can I be the moderator of a forum?

I'd love to have my old Imperial Age moderator job back. And maybe a new post for the Roman and Greek discussion board if Marcus Petrius doesn't make it back.

Don't worry, we'll (re)assign your positions. However, we'll wait a few
days until things settle down and for forumers to find their way here.

Old mods have priority, but we need some new blood as well! New minds and ideas are welcomed
We're going to make this forum even better that the old one, we have the momentum to achieve it!

I hope this doesn't sound too shocking, but since we are having a fresh start I would like to resign as a moderator of the East Asian Forums. I know I have been a moderator there almost since the beginnings of AE's existance, but I ended up being a moderator there just because I happened to know a little about Japan when we were electing moderators for the first time. Considering the complexness of some discussions on the East Asian Forums and my tiny knowledge of the subjects involved I feel I am not at all fit to moderate this forum. There are members who are far more knowledgable when it comes to Eastern Asia and I would prefer to see those in my former position.
If you want to consider me for a forum, Roman and Greek history and Literature (if such a forum should be created as a sub-forum of intellectual discussoins once we have the chance to create sub-forums, just a suggestion) are options for me. I know I haven't been active in the Roman and Greek board for a long time, but I'm going to study Latin and Greek from September onward and given the collections of the libraries of universities I guess I could catch up pretty soon. It's the only historical subject I feel confident enough about to moderate, as the Ancient World has held my fascination for a long time. I also really enjoy literature so that would be an option for me too, just in case such a board would be created.
That's my two cents

Thanks Dawn The great thing about a literature forum also is that there are so many different nationalities over here that we can get to know a very wide range of authors. I think we should investigate if there are enough people who are interested in literature over here and then - if possible - make it a sub-forum for intellectual discussions. Making it a seperate main forum might be a bit too much.

Agreed. Perhaps the way to find out if there is sufficiant intrest for a sub forum (or maybe a couple of pinned threads for the moment until sub forums are possible) is to run a poll.

I also like the idea of a literature section.
