What are your opinions on the battle and outcome of Napoleon's victory over the Russians under Tzar Alexander I and the Austrians under Francis II in the "Battle Of the Three Emperors."

The greatest battle of the time for me.
The demonstration of genious of Napoleon.
The charge of Murat in Pratzen.
The bravous of french soldier in Castle (i dont remember the name)
The artillery what broke the frozen pool.
The conclusion of the brillous campaign with Ulm as beginning.
"All is loose, just the honour"

Francis in the battle of Pavia

I'd say it's one of these brilliant victories that can lead rulers and entire nations into thinking that there are military solutions to political problems.

Austerlitz was so dazzling no one at the time could imagine it to be hollow, since it resolved none of the basic political issues involved.
One must not insult the future.

As a battle it was brilliantly fought. However, as said it dealt with nothing in the long-term

The techniques Napoleon utilized were brilliant and lucky for his intent. The feint on the right and the supression of the Russians by Davout's III Corp coupled with the run up the middle by Soult is completely play by play a masterpiece of military knowledge.

Showed Napoleon's superiority over his opponents.  Interesting that some consider it to be the epitome of his power, that he was on the downside ever after.  Definitely has to be considered when discussing his greatest victories.
