As my query has been reverted to this topic, may I ask; Is this month's image The 'Code of Hammurabi'?

This is the "Code of Hammurabi", however the answer is code of laws.This is the first code of laws.

We gave up your happiness
Your hope would be enough;
we couldn't find neither;
we made up sorrows for ourselves;
we couldn't be consoled;

Thank you Kapikulu Approve I was not sure how to word it...didn't think there was a 'first' code of Hammurabi.

Very nicely done! I'm assuming the magazine has gone to bi-monthly?

Timotheus

In ur opening statement on the Mongol threat to Europe i find no mention of the Otttomans, who were probably a greater threat than some of the others that were mentioned. Nice article though.

Yes, but everybody knows that the Turks nearly conquered the world because they are all demigods, but they were so humble they let the Europeans rule the world for them instead. It's a fact so obvious that I chose to let it go without mentioning it. Also, modern political considerations show that Turkey is actually part of Europe, but the conniving of the Greeks and Southern Cypriots have denied them their true inheritance. Besides, Mongols are Turks.

I accept that the discretion is entirely yours.. but  is it a good idea to leave obvious facts. In anycase it was just a bit of feedback.
