Multiple submissions are allowed, so you can correct previous wrong answers, add more details, or also answer questions you did not answered to in your previous submission.


First round will be finished after roughly 48 hours (on January 21st 10.30 PM CE time), soon after finish of the first round I will announce the second round for unanswered questions (next 24 hours)





Since the database were deleted by Brinkster just some days ago, I had to stress-fill the chart with lots of questions this time, since I didn't want to postpone it once again. I hope you can bear with several of my type of questions (if not, please submit your own till the next part ).

As usual, please feel free to PM questions if you think something is unclear with any of the questions.

They (well, mine) were rather hastily compiled and may be a little hard to understand, English being my second language.

Edit: One thing: Q10 "medicianal" should of course be medical.

To all: there was a specific reason that time and hour was chosen, and that provides 0.5 points of that question.

It reads 1 point on Q11 for you on my screen. There was some software error with the bomb question though, so that might have screwed it up. Try refresh this page and click the link again.

Dear Styrbion, when I opened the quiz, it started with the question about the allied bombing of berlin, which is now q 14, what's going on? My answers are now in the wrong order...Do I have to submit again?

No. The question ended up last of some reason, but no need to redo anything - all answers will be to the correct question anyway.

Ah, I realized I've constructed a (truelly awful) pun that prehaps doesn't really work in English on the first part of Q12. Well, we'll see how can you manage that.

I answer Q11 and Q12, probably correctly, bit I have point for Q10 and Q11, not Q12. Could a software glitch have made the numbers "shift"?

Yes. I see there's a lot of misspellings in my questions, and I blame it on that I stressed down the questions after 18.50 when I got home.

Sort of. The first question went obstinate and refused to be shown (some softwar error). Thus I had to readd it, effectively shifting all questions. I thought I was quick, but you were quicker. Just refreshing *this* page and following the links from the first post should fix it - it did for me (the results will still be shifted, but now they also correspond with the Answers Questions page). If you are unsure if the answers were added, please resend them. Sorry for the confusion.


Where are my results?

Results will not be there until I wake up and correct them. Which means about 5 minutes ago

Q1 Demon, correct country, work a little more on the reason.

Q13, many has found persons who wrote science-fiction-like stories, but I believe you should concentrate on the second half of the question a bit more

My objection is to questions formulated as riddles. A mysterious land from a while ago may not be as mysterious, considering new research.
What is the definition of Science Fiction?

Well, the riddle-structure is to ensure you need some knowledge in history to know where to look and not just spend two seconds to google up "who won the battle of Malazgirt?".

The first round will finish tomorrow at 20.30. Check out the rules link for more info


I won't try to define science fiction, but this easily falls under it. The important part of the question is the last though.
