Stephen Colbert Day has been proclaimed here in Oshawa (or as I like to call it, the armpit of Ontario) after he won a bet with the mayor (John Gray) on a hockey game between the Oshawa Generals and Saginaw Spirit. Gray offered that if the Spirit won, "Stephen Colbert Day" would be proclaimed in Oshawa on Stephen Colbert's birthday. Instead, Stephen insisted that "Stephen Colbert Day" be on Gray's birthday, which is interestingly March 20th, the same day as Noruz LOL
 
I dont know which to celebrate.

I saw that on the news the other day.  cute Smile  reminds me of the things the mayors of Calgary and Edmonton used as wagers on the Cal-Edm. hockey games
