Would Batu Khan have conquered Europe if Ogodei didn't die?
 
The Mongols had completely whiped out a German army of crusaders. Batu Khan wanted to continue his conquests but he got the message that his father Ogodei had died and he returned home because a new Khan had to be chosen.
 
Was there a force in Europe powerfull enough to stop the mongols?

I think Batu khan will conquered europe if ogodei dindi't die in in battle with sung empire ,mongol are well prepare  than the european nation i think ,the european force are more weaker than the jin empire  in china i think .

Simple answer yes. But why bother with Europe, when they are so much richer lands down south.
Same way as any modern invader worth his salt would invade Europe not Africa today.

İn the Batu Khan's time,it was aKipchak(Turkic)-Mongol Empire.
 
After his death,and Turkish became 1st language,the Empire become Turkic.
