   Today, two great artists are celebrating their 80th birthday. Pardon, only one is probably having a party. 

Chuck Berry - The living legend of Rock 'n Roll.
Born 1926 in St.Louis he grew up as a son of middle-class a/a (afro-american) parents(not a big surprise). At the High-School he started to play guitarre. 
In the early 1950 he travelled to Chicago, where he mets Mudy Walters. His career started, interrupted by several stay in different prisons for various causes. 
Berry was the example of many later R'n R Musicans , like Beatles,Rolling Stones and several others, which covered Berry Songs a dozens times.

The second anniversary is held as a rememberance to Klaus Kinski.
Kinski, born 1926 in Zoppot near Gdansk (today Poland) was one of the greatest German actors ever.
Though, he was totaly crazy , he played in countles german and international productions.

This year the BBC published a list of the 50 greatest actors ever. Kinsky was placed at place 45. No other germans were  listed.

He started a second career in publishing poems but just this was not one of his great talents.His  talent to play loony and nasty characters was distinctiv.
Kinsky died at the age of 65 at Lagunitas (Calif.)
