who is the better fighter when a shaolin monk fights a samurai? will the samurai cut the shaolin in half or commit suicide than face the shaolin?

There was a case in the Ming dynasty when the Government used shaolin monks to defeat a  much larger Japanese pirate force, using only wooden sticks the shaolin monks defeated 1000 piratesSmile.

The Japanese pirates were similary trained as Samurais.

What i mean by similary trained is they were basically the same as samurai or maybe even better

Umm, amurai at what point as their weapons/training change.
 
The pirates were unused to pitched battles, not as well equipped, on enemy ground etc.
