I am brand new to this website, as I joined about an hour ago, and, am truely enjoying myself reading the many posts. Some posts I found my views on the topic agree with the originator, some I did not agree! But then, I, as all people(s), have prejudices, biases and nationalistic ideas that color my beliefs. That said, here is the reason for this post:
I am seeking a good map of the Safavid Persian Empire circa 1700 A.D.! All I have found so far on the Web have modern highways & cities shown on them, or, other modern
information. The map may even be in B/W, that would not bother me in the least! I would prefer a topographical or raised relief map showing mountains, lakes, rivers, deserts etc., and the cities that existed at that time!! After reading
thru this forum, I am convinced that there are many erudite members whom may be able to help me with my search! I hope that this belief is well-founded.
