Okay, try to guess WHO IS THIS?

This woman paved the way for nuclear physics and cancer therapy. Her ashes (along with her husbands) were laid to rest under the famous dome of the Pantheon in Paris, alongside politician Jean Jaures, Resistance fighter Jean Moulin, and author Victor Hugo.

Trust in God: She will provide." -- Emmeline Pankhurst

She was born 1871 in Lublin. 1898 she obtained the citizenship of Germany and became active in the left wing of the social democratic party of Germany(SPD). She have attained great symbolic status amongst democratic socialists and some Marxists. 1919 she captured by Freikorps in Berlin and turtered and killed at the same day.

All right!!! I am NOT posting this picture for her sexiness.  Usually one does not match the face of an inventor with this face, but yes, folks, she was famous for inventing something.

Electrical engineers and military technicians all around the world revere her as the co-inventor of a very important technology.

Besides being a co-inventor, she is also ground-breaking in history for another type of achievement, one less feminist.

Questions:

1. What is the technology that she helped to co-invent?
2. What was her somewhat less feminist, but groundbreaking, achievement? (think film!  Benito Mussolini refused to sell his copy of something related to her groundbreaking act.)
3. Who is she?

Hint: Her first husband was a German Nazi armament manufacturer, whom she fled from.  Her other husbands included a lawyer, an actor, a Texas oilman, a nightclub owner, and a screenwriter.

Today, in many science and engineering circles, she is seen as a reminder that women of extraordinary beauty also have brains to match!

Yep! Hedy Lamarr.  She co-invented the frequency hopping technique, commonly used nowdays in military technology.  She was also groundbreaking for posing nude and faking an orgasm - much earlier than Meg Ryan - in the 1931 film Extase, which was notorious back then.

Here it is, a tricky one:

Some hints:
-She was a german photgrapher that died in Spain falling under a tank.

- She is famous for creating a character with her boyfriend that became so sucessful that he had to actually become that very character. Here are is most famous pictures.
