Tried to invade Russia!

I think that Napoleon is in the running for that one, among others.

For that Hitlerson character, someone please tell me he's banned now! As for the thread, well, how about America invading Canada in 1812? Pretty humiliating for the United States, who invaded Canada three times and lost each time.

Dumbest attack was Christian vs Christian when the Crusaders attacked and sacked Constantinople in 1204. This lead to the virtual destruction of the empire and permanently separated the churches for all time.

Yeah, I agree about the crusades.  If the crusades hadn't weakened the Eastern empire and Bulgaria, the Ottomans wouldn't have lasted as long as they did.

The Song dynasty of China allying with the Jurchens against the Khitans, exposing the weakness of the Song to their unreliable allies who promptly took over the northern half of the Song.

Then the Song dynasty allied with the Mongols against the Jurchens, and lost the remaining southern half of their country to the Mongols.

Bush jr.'s birth. Stupidest thing ever. This moron and his clan of warmongers shall end the human civilization, just wait and see.

There are many dumb decisions over time. The Roman Senate and the Athenian Demos are responsible for quite a few of them. If I have more time later, I'll elaborate.
